Palisades Alliance for Seniors’ March 9 program is titled, “Better Age: Adding Years to Our Life and Life to Our Years - A Geriatrician’s Perspective.”
The speaker will be Scott A. Kaiser, M.D, a board-certified family physician and geriatrician. Dr. Kaiser is Chief Innovation Officer of the Motion Picture & Television Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides safety-net services and support to the industry’s workforce and retirees. Concurrently, Dr. Kaiser serves as the Director of Geriatric Cognitive Health at the Pacific Brain Health Center in Santa Monica, where he provides specialty geriatric medical consultations within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the prevention and management of dementia.
In his talk, Dr. Kaiser will discuss his “whole person” approach to aging and his efforts to connect patients and their families with a broad range of social- and community-based programs to support their overall health and wellbeing.
The free program will take place in the Palisades Branch Library’s Community Room, and run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
